Dr. Lia Chislari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Rheumatology and Nephrology at the “Nicolae Testemi?anu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Chi?in?u, Moldova, where she has been teaching and practicing since 2007. A specialist in rheumatology with extensive clinical, scientific, and academic experience, she earned her PhD in 2011 with a thesis on musculoskeletal impairment in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Dr. Chislari has participated in multiple national and international research projects, including randomized clinical trials in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. She is the author of several scientific publications and has presented her research at major rheumatology congresses in Europe.

She has served as Secretary of the Scientific Seminar on Rheumatology (2014–2019) and is currently a member of the Specialized Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova. Her professional achievements have been recognized with national and international awards, including the Municipal Youth Award in Science and the honorary medal of the Polish Rheumatology Society.

Dr. Chi?lari is an active member of the League Against Rheumatic Diseases and the Society of Internists of Moldova.
