Dr Pharm. Speranța Prada is an experienced pharmaceutical professional and clinical research expert with a distinguished career spanning medicinal product research and control, quality management, clinical trial evaluation, and medical ethics. Following her studies at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, she began her career at the institution that is now the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Romania (ANMDMR). Her research work led to a doctoral thesis and qualification in quality management as a Qualified Person (QP).

Her professional experience also includes research into new medicinal products at the Ana Aslan National Institute of Gerontology and Geriatrics, where she worked under the guidance of Academician Ana Aslan. She currently contributes to clinical research and medical ethics through her work as an evaluator and expert in clinical trials at the Academy of Medical Sciences, as well as Secretary General of the National Bioethics Commission for Medicines and Medical Devices.

Alongside her scientific and regulatory work, Dr Prada has dedicated herself to advancing the pharmacy profession, serving for ten years as First Vice-President of the National Trade Union of Pharmacists in Romania. She has also contributed to European professional collaboration through her involvement with the Board of Women Pharmacists in Europe and as a delegate and member of Working Group 3 of the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists.

Throughout her career, she has remained committed to advancing innovative therapeutic solutions, strengthening professional standards, and promoting collaboration across the healthcare community.
