Geert Briers is founder and CEO of Deltaclinical, a Belgian CRO founded in 2014 that specializes in decentralized clinical trials. Deltaclinical supports sponsors and CROs worldwide with home-visit nursing, EEG@home, dietitians in clinical trials, site support and training. Geert brings a strong clinical background to his role: he started his career as a critical care nurse, moved into hospital management, and later worked as a study coordinator and CRA in several Phase I units, clinical trials and medical device studies. He holds a nursing degree and a Master's in Hospital Management (VUB), and studied business administration at KU Leuven. His focus is on patient centricity: making clinical trials more accessible and convenient by bringing trial visits to patients' homes.
